These can also be easily covered for shelter from bad weather or extreme sun. You can put your chosen coop inside that is
suitable for the number of hens.
We DO NOT recommend the below types:
These pictures can be very misleading as people buy them and when they arrive find that they are extremely small. Some as
small as 1m x 70 cm
The little coops with runs underneath or attached are, in my opinion, too small for keeping chickens in and are to be avoided.
Also the Omlet 1 meter and 2 meter runs are too small and should be avoided.
If hens are kept in runs that are too small, problems can arise. They can start pecking each other and fighting and in some
cases this can end badly. Remember, chickens are animals that are descended from dinosaurs.
